Keyboard manover:
T- returns to menu
Q - changes from neutral to drive/reverse
W - accelerates
A- steers left
D - steers right
S - brake
I - turns camera left
O - turns camera right
X - hazard lights
N - left blinker
M - right blinker
To use the gas (W), make sure you press Q first. On the car's board, you should see the letter D. That indicates your car is in Drive and not in Neutral. Afterward, pressing Q will toggle between drive and reverse.
Common Q&A:
Please do you perhaps have a setup for demonstration whereby I can pass by to try it out?
Yes, you can try one lesson with everything in place by this link, this has to be booked one week in advance for setting up the package in traffic school: https://www.fellow-bot.com/book-online
Is it only the steering wheel and pedals + the license that is needed?
For this PC version you don't need to plug in any other hardware than PC, you can run with keyboard.
But you can check our driver simulator tailor-made in this link: https://www.fellow-bot.com/product-page/driver-simulator-at-home for steering wheel and pedals as Fanatec CSL DD NASCAR Bundle.
Do I need a specialized computer and monitor?
You need a PC with independent GPU e.g. Nvidia RTX, GTX or similar. We have tested MSI Cyborg, Lenovo Legion 16ACHG6 series. We recommend a plat or curve screen at least 27''.
Does the driving simulation scenarios/exercises cover all the road and traffic scenarios in Sweden (roundabout, city, urban, highway, country road, darkness, slippery road, etc, driving)
Yes, but there is more safety-critical scenarios e.g. wild animals that you probably not encounter so often, which serves the educational purpose for traffic safety and passive driving.
Does the driving simulator support VR?
Yes, but in another version - we don't sell the version to the public since VR glasses are still heavy (and we can't do much about it since we develop only the simulation software) and early tests show students may easily get sick driving with VR headsets.
